Each year, around 1,000 future-oriented farmers and experts from the areas of consulting, science and agribusiness meet up at the leading future forum for agriculture. As a discussion forum for current issues, the congress acts as a beacon for farming as a whole.
DLG-Unternehmertage
DLG-Unternehmertage is the annual industry get-together for agricultural entrepreneurs. Operational concepts for the continued development of arable and livestock farming in a national and international context are presented here and experience is exchanged.
Young DLG annual congress
The Young DLG annual congress is one of the most important get-togethers for young businessmen and women and the agricultural industry's young talent. Its combination of a technical programme, farm visits, discussions and sharing experiences makes this event an innovative platform for the young agricultural industry.
International Rice Congress
The International Rice Congress is the scientific platform for innovators in the area of rice-based food systems and is organised by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). The congress brings scientists, experts and decision-makers together to come up with solutions to the challenges faced by the global rice sector. DLG organises the confex format in the context of a partnership.
AGRIFUTURE Conference & Exhibition
The confex format presents innovations for meeting the future challenges of Asian agriculture. These include issues of increasing urbanisation, sustainable production methods, digital transformation and biotechnological progress. Amongst others, the exhibition presents the latest agricultural machinery, AI technology and new production methods for the target regions. The conference is aimed at fostering global cooperation.
International conferences at trade fairs
As part of the world's leading trade fairs, AGRITECHNICA and EuroTier, DLG regularly organises international conferences on current topics within the agricultural and food industries together with partners. These include events concerning specific agricultural regions (e.g. Ukraine, Southeast Asia) or on specialist topics (e.g. agricultural machinery, food technology).

Our subsidiary IFWexpo Heidelberg belongs to the small group of German trade fair companies entitled to organise communal German stands as part of the German government’s foreign trade fair programme. Each year, 10 to 15 communal German stands are organised for the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action at agricultural and food sector trade fairs in Central Asia, Africa, East Asia and America.
